Puerta Vides

Accounts Department

Rafael Puerta Vides

The Puerta Vides accounts department is headed by José María Reyes (Spanish accountant) and Rafael Puerta MBA (Spanish accountant). Our accountants provide a comprehensive Spanish accountancy service to both individuals and companies.

We aim to provide a complete Spanish tax planning and advisory services which are tailored to the needs of our English speaking clients.

Whether you are an individual or own a company, we can act for you in all your dealings with the Spanish Tax Office, Spanish Company House, Social Security Office as well as all other relevant authorities.

We provide a full Spanish tax return and book keeping service for both companies and individuals in accordance with the Spanish tax law. There is a different tax regime for non-residents and residents in Spain. We can advice on the respective tax liabilities and submit tax returns on behalf of our clients under both regimes.

Our Spanish accountants can advise you on the different tax liabilities that exist in respect to both non-residents and residents and their liabilities in relation to capital gains, income tax, inheritance tax and company tax.

For example, a non-resident individual who owns a property in Spain, under the present tax law, will pay when his property is sold 35% tax on the capital gain. Whereas when that same property is owned by the same individual using a Spanish holding company, the tax liability will only be 15%.

Please feel free to contact us if you would like any further information on our tax services either by email pv@puertavides.com or ask to speak to Rafael Puerta on the telephone 00 34 952 76 41 81
