Puerta Vides residencial and commercial property law department is headed by Francisco Puerta LLB LLM (Spanish Lawyer/Abogado). All our English speaking clients have the services of both lawyers included in their fees as our aim is to provide our clients with a high quality of service. All Puerta Vides's lawyers are regulated by the Malaga Law Society (Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Malaga). Our "in-house" English Solicitor holds a Practising Certificate with the Law Society of England and Wales and is a member and licensed to practice in Spain by the Malaga Law Society. We provide our clients with a full Spanish residencial and commercial property conveyancing/legal service on new and resale properties. We also provide a full planning law and landlord and tenant law service. Our property team lawyers are fluent in English and aim to provide a Spanish legal service explained in a clear form of English that our clients can understand.
Puerta Vides's lawyers and accountants appreciate that the purchase of a Spanish property is an important personal decision which will inevitably entail a large capital investment. Usually our clients have spent a large amount of their own time and money looking for the right property to suit them. Once they have found the property they need to know that they have the protection of independent lawyers who will carry out thorough legal checks on the property and ensure the conveyance goes through efficiently and safely. We aim to provide our clients with a fast, efficient and friendly service, whilst at the same time giving them the peace of mind and protection of our professional legal and accountancy services.

Legal Fees
Our fees on residential purchases and sales are 1% of the value of the property plus IVA (Spanish VAT at 16%).
We have a minimum fee of 2,000 Euros on properties valued 200,000 Euros or below.
Our standard hourly rate for all other legal work is 140 Euros per hour plus IVA plus disbursements.
We provide all our clients with a clear estimate of our fees prior to acting for them, and will update them regularly on our progress.
